REVERE, Mass. — A global entertainment phenomenon known to the Boston area announced a special pop-up performance at a Massachusetts beach this weekend. The Blue Man Group will perform as headliners at the International Sand Sculpting Festival at Revere Beach this coming Friday at 8 p.m. The annual festival is the largest free event in Massachusetts, and hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend over the course of three days. It occupies a lengthy footprint on Revere Beach and features multiple event stages, local artisans and food vendors, spectacular large-scale sand sculptures, and on Saturday night, a fireworks display.
