Proximity to customers in the growing electric-vehicle market, a strong transportation network, a deep workforce, and a business-friendly state are drawing an upstate New York company with a 200-year history to Mebane. Revere Copper Products has leased the former Prescient building at 2125 Senator Ralph Scott Parkway with plans to employ 30 to 40 people making copper primarily for electrical and electronic equipment. The plant's product is copper bus bar used as a conductor in electrical equipment and components.
